Worked on these Assets for my end of year game. Sci-Fi based game, simple and manage to pull these off quite quickly.
This was a challenge that my teacher set out for me. Took 3 weeks to finish, but if I had to count in total, I’d say it took about 30 hours or so, due to assignments and the end of year game. Decided to go for a simple old-school look. Had a tricky time dealing with the matchsticks and positioning them but overall I’m super happy this is. As a reminder to myself and everyone else. This is the direction I’d like to go with all future models. Hopefully, I can say that is will be shit, and I can smash something like this in under an hour. The process of this was first blocked out in Maya, then sculpted in Zbrush with micro detail, followed by low to high re-top, then textured in Substances Painter and finally rendered in Iray.
San Miguel Beer Can | Barely found anyone on here to pull this off. So, I decided to take it. Was actually surprised that it wasn't already done, being that this beer has been around forever. I didn't wanna just do an ordinary beer can or soda can, I wanted to do something that was unique and something that would stick to my roots. Here, I focused on as much detail as I could, from the bumps and scratches to the bits of dirt all the way the to the droplets of water to give it that cold feel. I was able to pull this off quicker than the matchbox and with a much higher quality. I also drank this recently, so I was able to copy word for word from the can itself at the same time as having a real-life reference for this model. The label was all done from the ground up as I could not find any paste on's, this is as close to the can I could get as humanly possible. Enjoy.
Other Things I Do
Things I do | Other than 3D, I also know Photography & Lighting. A complete collection of what I been doing for the past 10 years, and worked in the fields of Landscape, Fashion, Music, Portrait, Architecture, Live Events, Horror and Illustrations.
I guess we’ll find out if the final beauty render will be in @Allegorithmic Substance Painter or @Luxion Inc. (makers of KeyShot). Tiles could be a big deal to me. After all, the materials are already done. Still need to figure out prop materials and such, but other than that it’s not bad considering the scene looks more busy now. Now that I think about it, it does look kinda plain with just ceramic on its own.
Built in Autodesk Maya, Rendered In Keyshot.
In My Stomach
One day, I was walking around the neighbourhood, and I saw a dead animal, and was fascinated not by the smell or the maggots eating it. But the everyday progression of it being gutted in different sections. My brain doesn't even get grossed out anymore, and all is really interesting to me is how that dead bird somehow looked like a level to me, I guess spirits are real.
A challenge that was set out for the course of 14 hours. The pressure was on at this point, but I think this went well.
Some Rocks, I've done for Uni, currently still sorting out my renders for show.
Currently an on going project via, here a show the modeling and all the 3D assets CC and feedback is welcome here to improve this for the future. Feel free to give a follow to see the process as I work on it.
A collections of moodboard done to help tell and illistrate stories.
The Busy Calander
A strange world where calendars drink coffee, go to work, wear pants and there are only six days in a week. 1500 challenge end up turning into a 924 tri model. Very happy with the results and I feel this was fun and cheered me up a little. Heavily inspired by my partner. And anyone else who considers themselves wicked busy. Smashed this out in 4 days total.
