Cold Hands Everywhere | Halloween Post

Cold Hands Everywhere is the second entry in my Dreams and Nightmares collection.
This piece explores emotional exhaustion the feeling of constantly being reached for, pulled at and drained until there is very little left to give.
The surrounding hands represent that pressure, while the expression reflects something beyond fear: exhaustion, helplessness and acceptance.
The eyes became an important part of the piece. One is being interfered with, while another appears elsewhere, still looking toward the light.
For me, that became a symbol of regeneration.
Even when part of you is damaged, another part can still find a way to see.
