It's Like Van Gogh | Halloween Post, Day 06
It's Like Van Gogh | Halloween Post, Day 06

Inspired by the tragic story of Vincent van Gogh, who severed his own ear during a psychological crisis in 1888 before presenting it to a woman in Arles. Rather than focusing on the violence itself, I wanted to explore the unsettling contrast between pain and tenderness, the idea of offering a part of yourself when words can no longer express what you're experiencing. Perhaps it's about desperation, vulnerability, or simply wanting to be heard. Using existing MetaHuman assets, with a focus on anatomical detail, texturing, lighting and composition.
Another small experiment in visual storytelling, with a rather morbid historical inspiration.
