This was a challenge that my teacher set out for me. Took 3 weeks to finish, but if I had to count in total, I’d say it took about 30 hours or so, due to assignments and the end of year game. Decided to go for a simple old-school look. Had a tricky time dealing with the matchsticks and positioning them but overall I’m super happy this is. As a reminder to myself and everyone else. This is the direction I’d like to go with all future models. Hopefully, I can say that is will be shit, and I can smash something like this in under an hour.
The process of this was first blocked out in Maya, then sculpted in Zbrush with micro detail, followed by low to high re-top, then textured in Substances Painter and finally rendered in Iray.

Hope you like it.
