2016 & The BIG Changes!
It's 2016 and I've got some wicked tricks up my sleeve, mostly travel! Oops! Did I just ruined the surprise? Well, I'm not a surprise kind of guy anyways. This year and apart from the beginning of my travels I'll be for the first time setting up the Conceptual Design workstation. More details on this in a video, more or less; let's talk about what's to come to get this whole project started once and for all.
Think 1# A Computer: I'll need a workstation, and not just something pretty either, I know most of the PC people out there who read my blogs are going to love me after I say this next thing.
Let's face it, Apple's desktop line isn't going to get me anywhere when it comes to 3D and Virtual Reality. A good example of this would be as mentioned in my previous post an SLI Bridge, NVIDIA GeForce explains here As for the Mac Pro, now that's a machine I could use to keep a company with my workspace. But we'll have to save that for another chapter.
Think 2# Being Crafty: Looks like it's back to the odd jobs once again as well as schooling. Only this time, I'll be hitting up the books in Game Design and working my way up into the masters. It'll all make sense afterwards. Then once I get to this step I'll be doing the short travels and the short visual content and 3D creating. Guess I'll need to make more videos to explain myself since there are still a few people out there confused about the whole idea.
The Chicago 4K Video I made last year yet inspired me, and I'd like to keep on creating videos and uploading! I'm also interested in keeping all my already finished videos stored away and ready for all eyes to see on my site. After the website has the videos and gets the 100% and the green light (like I haven't said that already) I'll finally be able to start the refresh cycle, which will be every 5-6 years.
In the meantime while that gap is in the way I'll be creating and networking as well as choosing the best of which is to be upload to the site. This way I'll be able to create a diversion for myself. I should be busy for quite a while. It's time to evolve and move on and become one. Might not get all this done for 2016 but it'll be an on going thing that's for sure.
Think 3# The Budget: This is something that does worry me from time to time. But I truly believe I'm stuck like glue with this idea, after this I can finally think about being an adult once and for all, but ain't we kids anyways? If I'd have to boil in a pot and tell you about the workflow and the budget of a creative artist it'd all come down to being patient, taking your time, saving up, as well as making some time for you and your loved ones.
I'm not one to give advice but as an artist, I'd say go for it kid, impress us! You don't want to burn out like I did. It's a drag. And that's not how anyone should start their New Year. We should see some wicked things in 2016, just saying.
We are at the simple and exciting stages of a whole new beginning. Once again we bring up the topic of being together but not being together. Here's a nice little example:
But this should change over time with the progression with these new toys. Maybe we'll be together once again... in a more modern sense. Best of luck everyone, you're going to love the future!
