"YOU WERE SHOT!"

Alright so it's been quite a while since I posted, and since in the video I said that I would, I'll have to explain what "You Were Shot!" is, that's if you've watched it. Either way I'll give a quick run down on what this section is about, and give a little bit of info for the people who haven't seen my video, and to what it will also may hold for the future. I'm pretty sure this is a keeper.

Basically, "You Were Shot!" is a form of outlet that I will draw all media to. Being from parties, functions, nightclubs, birthdays or even a random day out with friends and family. The idea came to thought from me working as a nightclub photographer, and thinking about businesses shutting down. I then said to myself, "wonder what happens to the photos afterwards, and do they even care?". The reason why we bring our cameras with us on Fridays and Saturdays is because we drink, and maybe we'd like to remember what we did that night. And since a nightclub or organization may potentially shut down, your photos and your memories will too.

So, I have decided to take this site a step further, I'm making this section an archive towards all of your memories and potentially lost moments from clubs. What's the catch? Nothing, you see me, I see you, I take your photo. You get my card, you get your photo. Easy as pie. I thought, if you wanted to runaway by deactivating yourself at least you can still view your moments. This way the user gets an experience by not having to wait until their happy again to jump back up on Facebook, in order to see their friends when their feeling down. And personally I think cheering up is important. I'll be most likely hitting the clubs once again, and heading overseas to take this project with me. I have 5000 cards so I better make good use to them. In the long run, seems like a good way to get the talk happening. "We Got You!" didn't work out for me, for those who are wondering what happened to that name. I figured, if I called it that and it's just me for now, there really isn't a "We" if it's just me. Or if my team leaves me. But with "You Were Shot", this works better because if people come and go, and the title will still remain. I think this is going to stick around for sure! But that's really about it for that part, if you're still confused about this, please don't hesitate to drop me a line in the comments below. The summer is also killing me and my internet. I'll see you at the clubs.
